well, i thought that ravenholm was converted too, but he can't get vmex (the hl2 map decompiler) to work on his machine, so you'll have to believe it. i wouldn't convert it! abouloutly no way. you should see how many entitys, brushes, and plenty of other stuff you have to remove when you convert the map...

EDIT: you know, stuff like "npc_" whatever or "point_camera" or anything else that half life 2 uses.
EDIT2: and the brush based entitys.

hey, moron, pay attention, i had to start from scratch like, a week ago. do you know what "start from scratch" means? it means that you had just started something that has no content yet. NOT EVEN MAPS. my computer crashed and i had to remove half life. now i have to start all over again. next time, instead of being a stupid little s***, read the other posts.

Learn to map. Even if your maps suck at first, you have to keep practicing it.
uh, i've been mappig for a year now, i think my mapping skill would've changed by then, but, no. also, whoever said half life couldn't handle such complex maps, go look a few posts up. THERE is you're proof that half life can't handle complex maps.

acually that's because the textures it was rendering was scaled too small. it would be too hard for mee to get the textures the right size without lagging the map.

oh, i understand that. i just don't like the "do it yourself, you lazy idiot!" kind of posts. i also need a new mapper. (the city 17 map i made lagged down to 1 fps) i just gather all the sounds models and music. ect. (sysop still hasn't answered my pm. : )
you need people who can code and model
well, i don't really need a modeler, since all i have to do is convert the model, but i guess i could get one.
