btw your decals were on the outside of the room when i edited, they were backwards though, so maybe somehow origianlly they were on the inside of the room = )
The decals should show up normally in-game because of the texture alignment of the wall they're on. I meant that to be the entrance, but... does'nt matter. :)

See? They modified my monstermakers, made less of them, and had it BACKWARDS! The decals that say "JEFFMOD" are supposed to be on the entrance. Oh, well. We knew that they'd be modified.

Okay, as you can see, I need help. I need voice actors, to be precise. Anyone who can do voice acting in english and is interested in making Colony 42 finish, please apply! I have small roles: a Comns. officer, a Command officer,)
and a big(ish) role: Charlie, the player's superior officer. When I get an application, I'll add update this.
PM me for the lines, The first two have 2 lines each, and Charlie has 10, a few of which are long/require more emotion then the others.

Anyone and everyone who gets the parts will be credited, Thanks in advance!
EDIT: The Hunter has volenteered for one of the smaller parts. I still need another small actor and one who's up for a decently sized amount of talking.

I don't want ratings disabled, just Mitchrev's ratings gone. He only rated my maps because he knows me, and he states he does'nt even have the ABILITY to play the maps. If there is a way to do that without disabling the ratings, PLEASE do.

But make sure you also have the game and FGD in another dl so you don't have to download all the source files to play it/map for it. We don't all have high-speed! ;)

2. I have textures.wad loaded in hammer 3.5 currently. What texture wads are good some good standard wads to load for ep2 mapping?
Uhm... Use the hammer 4 included in source SDK, unless you just made a mistake typeing. 3.5 only works for goldsource, and 4 has more features.
And Hammer 4 automaticly sets up the textures and models for the current game, as set in the SDK base window.

By the way, you can see the other 2 rooms through the glass roof in JeffMOD's room as well. It looks awful.
Mine probably should be on top in that case, so people can't see through walls.

That is really good brush detail. I hope you used func_walls, or it will be a real pain for the compiller. I assume this WILL be more than one map, for performance reasons?

Mine's done. Should'nt add to the compile time or playing strain of the master map by much. I also did'nt add a door because I wanted the outside to match whatever theme you have for the halls. Oh, there is a vort, but it does'nt attack you... It's taking my place in the room.

try setting the angle of the second scripted sequence to face where the zombie is initialy facing, or using the "Don't turn" property. I forget if normal HL has that, but I think It does. As a last resort, try setting the first to have the action as well and delete the second. I've never actually tried it... Maybe have the zombie trigger the sequence on damage?
