You play as a scientist trying to stay alive during the resonance cascade.
No guns
No ammo
No suit
No flashlight
Idea already taken by my mod I'm working on.

Make a map of you, the player, being eaten and exploring the human body?

Our seventh grade class got talked to about sexually trasmitted diseases and teen pregnancies. It wasn't mostly about not having sex, we had three ways to not get pregnant.

1. Don't Have Sex
2. Use Condoms
3. Pull it Out

I like how you can see the camera flash on the white board when you took a picture of it xD
That wasn't the camera flash, my camera doesn't use flash. I used my HD video camera which had a regular camera mode. But it actually makes it more realistic since it blends in with just about any color of light.

The light was coming from my window that my curtains effortlessly tried to keep from the shot.

Sorry for the double-post, was supposed to click EDIT. D:

Didn't TWHL have something called a "Wall of Text" where there was a site we went to and put random things on a giant blank board and other people would be able to see what we put?

I'm trying to find it so I can use it for DimQuest.

The main character is not, as a matter of fact, a kid.

(But, there was a DimQuest spin-off that featured a... nevermind.)

However, the kid is a major figure in the game, and he has actually spent 320 years... living.

He guides the main character through heart-to-heart. He also convinced the Barney to take a crowbar and break open the window so the main character can escape.

-I tried changing the extension, but when I opened up the new .rmf file, my hammer froze for a second and said it was out of memory.

I guess I'll just have to redo what was in the older version.

Alright, I've been working on this map for a while, saved a good bit of times without errors and compiled it often.

When I closed the map with the intentions of re-opening it, something strange happened and it reverted to a version from about 7 compiles ago...

What happened? It removed a large portion of my map I had worked on. I still have an .rmx file but I'm not sure how to go about opening it. And, Atom, the Compilator is set to clean up the .map files. Does it go anywhere? Because it did not end up in the Recycle Bin... or did it?

Anyways, how can I get the regular map back?

in Source Lighting Post #306461
I've been playing with source for a couple of months, and I've been having fun with my maps. But there's just one problem I've never overcome...

Lighting.

Usually, I just make a prop_dynamic light and under it I put a "light" and I say, "Alright. I'm finished." But this has left me with very poor lighting in what would prove a better map. So, I decided I'd ask the professionals.

How should I go about lighting for small rooms, hallways? Dynamic lighting with glows and... just something fancy.

Working a lot with the Skyrim creation kit.

Thought up a fun quest involving Dimbark, a child who was supposedly dead but really just knows a lot of illusion spells and hides among the Dragur, occasionally going to Whiterun to steal goods.

Oh, and just because the editor is limited to normal test supplies, it doesn't mean that you can't add anything interesting.

You're able to export the file to Hammer editor to add your own stuff if you can't find it in the editor.

How about we lay out the gameplay like this:
Minor training to show how missions will be like
Have several different missions, some of them different from the main line of quests. You can have the missions by being released by dispatch and then put back to sleep until your next mission.
Edit the code so that when you collect a weapon, you can't use it. So, basically, you'll be picking up evidence.
I have a good voice actor who can do the dispatch.
Here's a sample.
