Bottom line. If you want a program that records good-quality fullscreen videos you're going to have to grab your wallet.
Or you can offline render 100% free of charge, only requires a lot of time.

Oh, and it records higher quality then fraps of course, as it renders raw bmp files with no set keyrate.

EDIT: Random bump! FOR SCIENCE!

Basically, every program is marked as a "potential virus" unless Google (or some other database) says that it's a "commonly downloaded software".
Would that not just increase the risk that it could have malicious software coded in?

Completely redundant having Logic&Trick in the title of the application and the developer bumper. Just have it once.

The image of the house is also not in any way related to Sledge and does not symbolize the Sledge editor. Needs to be a central concept behind Sledge.

You need to get yourself a dslr for chrissake, it's been years.

Currently I haven't actually been able to use it short of testing it on my PC, I'll probably have to use it tethered to a laptop when shooting. I'll probably buy a Zoom H1 when I get another job.

Cool images ghost, borrowed a friends' dslr I'm assuming? (No EXIF extension right now so I can't just pull up EXIF data)

ND filters are pretty much required for this lens, as I've learned from trying to use a flash at lowest iso and getting a completely white image, haha.

I was not forseeing enough to have ordered ND filters with it. :(

Well, I don't feel really comfortable posting the actual shot here since it's not a final shot and he didn't really give me permission to post pictures of him online outside of the actual documentary release. :P

It's actually shot at 1080p\24p.
[I was super tired when I made that shoop but I think I did 720p because the monitor really doesn't seem like 1080p at all, seems like it's maybe a 720p monitor at best. It really irritated me when I turned it on and it felt barely like a step up from a SD monitor.]

I've had to resort to using two multi_managers instead of one because triggering the same object does not work twice because Sledge thinks I'm just trying to change the value of the first trigger event rather than adding a new one... It's a great feature, but it needs a little tweaking. :/

Don't mind the noise; I always try to introduce grain (Not noise) being a film junkie and I understand most people hate grain and even mistake genuine film grain as 'noise', so with actual noise in my image I imagine it must be pretty jarring. :P

The Zippo was shot with a flash, stu. :P
At highest iso, and my fastest lens at 1.8, a 1min exposure wasn't bright enough to see any details.

Definitely doesn't look bad; For next time, try to diffuse the lighting as much as you can.
Your lighting setup looks very direct, and makes her skin look rough and almost shiny to a degree. Remember: smooth, soft lighting is flattering lighting.

Criticism aside, it really does look good. I'm just too OCD to ignore the lighting.

Lately I've been getting so anal about what I post so I don't have much to show nowadays.

I've had this blade for a while now, and about a month ago or so I managed to break the tip off. Feeling as though binning it would be a waste, I decided to just grind the top of the blade down to the edge and then gave the top an edge as well. The knife is freestanding in a plank of wood.

This next set is about illusions.

This scene appears well lit and warm, but in actuality it was taken during a total power grid blackout in one of the coldest, windiest nights we've had on the island that I can remember. It was pitch black, you couldn't tell your ass from your elbow if both were glued to your face.

This one is a little simpler. A deadbolt attached to... Nothing. It's a black posterboard that the lock has been propped up against. But without examining it, your brain will simply believe it's a door... Or more generically, a surface that it is validly attached to and serves a valid purpose.

And of course...

Ati Radeon 7500. I know it's ancient but it's really not that much different from any other DX7 cards of it's time, and it rarely gives me issues with what it actually can run.

I tried loading a map from the map vault and a few textures loaded, but no sprites or models again. There isn't really a point where it stops showing them correctly, it never shows them correctly to begin with (starting from a fresh new map). I know my hardware can have incompatibility issues but I don't understand why only certain textures show. :/

Apologies, I wasn't trying to come across as an ass or anything, I was actually genuinely trying to express disappointment. A lot of developers create low-demanding applications\games but still shun support for perfectly adequate hardware just because it's a little too old, and that gets really frustrating. I do appreciate you actually helping me here, the software appears leaps and bounds better than vanilla hammer.

The selection box got rid of the error, but the textures are still seemingly missing. Again, I think it's just simply my low end hardware because the wads are added and the texture editor shows all of the textures as loaded fine. A few textures are showing up but only a few, and no models or sprites are showing up. I'll try tinkering with the settings and see if I get anywhere.

Hmm fair point, but that does not mean you have to remove the dial entirely. Just add a 'custom function' slot that lets you use the extended shutter speeds and increments. If you hate standard shutter speed increments so much (clearly there wasn't a problem with them back in the film days), then you could just leave it on the custom fn selector at all times.

This is the digital age, we should be able to make compromises for technological advancements in a way other than 'it ain't broke, but let's remove it anyways and fix it'
