uhh try this. play singleplayer game and then go to console and type changelevel (map Name) it will play ur map in Sp mode.
Ok i have CS retail and i want to map for halflife is there anyway of getting halflife maybe like downloading it or something. Dont say STEAM either it sux

Ok i made the map and i want players when they start to spawn, get there weapons taken away, and then be given a knife.Any1 know how to do that
and how do u just start with a knife without the pistol
but when i make a start entity it becomes the buyzone
How do u disable the buy zone and have them only start with a knife?

i just installed counter strike becuase mapping with steam was giving me problems

when ever im compiling it says "fatal error: Failed to load platform modules". What is that all about?

I followed 1 of the tutorials and it say to make hollow and i did, but it says what is above.

well i did the hollow tool that would make no holes in it and i started a new map 3 times and the same prob

well there is no leak it says that everytime i put an entity in. Can some1 help me plz.

Ok now its working but when i load it ,it says cannot find blazur.wad .

Ok i did everything right but when I run map, everything goes right until I get to the end.Then I get an error that says "can not load filesystem dll". What do I do? and if this helps im using steam.
