so im upscaling models to 512 and if there are very few textures on the mdl, it will compile successfully.. but if there are too many textures, the compiler will crash. i tried milkshape, jed's, asset manager, standalone mdl viewer... pretty much all of them. i even decompiled this sven coop desert eagle model which uses all 512 textures.. and attempted to recompile the mdl with original textures and everything, and it still failed... but clearly someone else was able to compile it... what am i doing wrong? i have 32g ram.
