Not really.

I think spammage is a much more bannable offense but we don't ban often for it - Not referring to you or anything, just a general point ;x

I might take up one of those offers and ditch ol' Geocities. Their bandwidth limit is 4MB an hour...(calculated that myself :D )...pretty lame...

E-Mail me at rpgm2k@hotmail.com with your Username and password!
But remember, you will download at maximum 30k/s from me

30k/s isn't too bad for free hosting, infact it's pretty gewd ;x

Geocities should be geoshitties, it's only really good for small personal sites.

30 kbps is pretty crappy. Steal some off m0p instead.

Hey, I'm just offering... (The webserver is located at home)
Posted 19 years ago2005-04-29 08:37:23 UTC Post #106343
Dude, you seriously don't want to have your servers taking un-relimited upwidth from your home connection; you need some space for requests up an' all. Trust me, I've been doing this quite a while.

That is, of course, unless you're on 512 or higher

For webservering, unless your site isn't too high bandwidth, you should have at least 512k upstream, for sure.
m0p m0pIllogical.

If people need webspace, I'll give it on Anarchy-rules.com(PLUG COUGH) but only if its needed and it passes several other people(5 people). Mappers and gamers, don't worry, people interested apply to the one you knoweth. If not-ith, the a big fat one, they must suck-eth.... :P

The problem is that at home, the cable is not entered in the house (we got satellite) so I can't get Cable Internet connetion and I have to stay with the Hish-Speed DSL (3.2MBIT)
Posted 19 years ago2005-04-30 09:56:48 UTC Post #106482
What about upstream? Saturating that way'll make it just as unusuable.
