What kind of sound are you using?

Is it a custom sound? If so, then you might have a sound formatting error.

Did you trigger your Ambient_Generic?

Usually problems with an Ambient_generic arize when you type in the correct path to the file. Do not use the browse thing to find the sound. I believe you have to type in the direction to the sound/ambience/sound.wav manually.

You also might have put your sound in the wrong folder.

Please give more information, and it would be a lot easier for me to help you ;)

To be specific, I believe the required format is PCM 8,000 kHz, 16 Bit, Mono (15 kb/sec). You also need to make sure it is about under 1 minute. If you need it to loop, you'll need GoldWave (trial but still usable) to set up cues.

Dumb question: is the sound you're selecting actually a .WAV?

Any other programs that can make cues?

Actually, dandy, I'm almost certain that it must be 8-bit audio for the lip synching to work.

J3r3my, Sound Forge can, and I'm sure so can many others.

Make sure you also click the "Start Silent" Flag, this way instead of starting asap and be done, it will start when triggered.

It once happend to me. Make sure that the wav file you use has more then 0 Kbs and sure that the sound is taken from the pak not from any other place in your computer.

Well, the path should read something like "sound/ambience/noise.wav", for example.
