I'm making this map and i need some of the HL1 decals (from decals.wad) to be in a specific colour.. I've checked the infodecal properties, but there are no flags/properties where you can define the decal's colour...
How can i make the decal have the colour i want without texture editing? :zonked:

With texture editing.

You have to change the last color in the decal's palette.

I think you can fake multicolour decals.. Not sure though.

If you can fake "spray logo" multicolour decals, then you can probably do so for ordinary decals.

i'll have to look into that..

You could, of course, just use normal transparent textures for that, on func_illusionaries. Much easier.

Well yea.. everything works fine... I've copyed the decals from decals.wad into the wad with all the other textures for my map and changed the last colors... Everything groovy! :D
