I would like a PSP, but the chances of me actually getting one are slim to none. Coded Arms looks great, I'm anticipating a review for it in EGM whenever it comes out.

the PSP is bloody expensive, even for something that small. i was considering one, but then i heard the 360 is coming out around the same time. say, anyone got ?300?

Consoles arent that bad. Halo, RainbowSix 3, Time Splitters; all of thoes are first-person shooters, they work fine, you just need to learn the controls. and its not that im pickin on all of you PC gamers, because I use my PC alot too but im very very limited on what i can play. My PC has what my friends and i call a POS prosser....PIECE OF SHIT. But there are many games that are exclusivly for consoles that arent on PC or viceversa. like habboi said "zelda" (awesome game(s)) Both PC's and consoles have their good points though.

Erm... how so? PCs can do lots of things. Consoles play games. They're cheap, poor-spec machines at present, and have unwieldy controls for FPSs, lacking finesse entirely.

even the PS3, when released will have been vastly out-done by the 10GHz processors that they're discussing in NewScientist and PCgamer.

They say by 2007 (yes, only a year and a half away) they will have a publicly acessable processor that will at least tripple the speed of the current averaage processor.

Sure they look good in magazines but what about all the stunning screenshots we saw for XBOX's Halo 2? It was nothing near the quality of the shots.

and why are they developing things like the PS3 proccessor core for the console market anyway. it will be the first time the consoles have ever done anything better first. it has always been the PC that gets the good stuff. and all the consoles ever got was recycled parts form the 1990's.

and how are they going to make it affordable with 3 3.2Ghz proccessor or in the PS3's case its 8 whatever proccessors. how are they going to make that affordable when one 3.2 processor costs...

does a quick newegg

...$208. thats 600 for the proccessors alone. now any inteligent person could buy a computer for that cost. and since a computer can do a hell of alot more and look a hell of alot better then any console ever will why won't they... I will tell you why, because most of them are very stupid.
