Completely redesigned my desktop! Now I have a purple/dark grey GTK theme (fits in with my Gentoo wallpaper) and those icons from /usr/share/icons/gentoo/l33t which magicly appeared earlier when I was emerge'ing random packages.

i just played a nostalgic online battle in IL2 Sturmovik after re-installing it thanks to this thread!
it was great..
there were six a side in a dog-fight on SummerIslands1a and we had the two norhtern islands (three planes on each airfield)
and the gerries had the southern islands. Both of us had a few AA guns and gun batteries protecting the airfield.
We played three rounds. The game was simple - blow up both of the enemie's airfields.. 1 player on each team was a bomber, the others were fighters.
Most of the enemies used JU-G18s with powerful cannons and most of us used IL2 late series (field mods)
it was brilliant.. we won 2 out of three!
it was great..

Played a bit of Hidden: Source. Good game, but very buggy. I finally killed the bastard, which meant I could be the hidden, and then I had some weird graphics glitch bug thing so I couldn't see a thing... unfair, I'd spent ages trying to be teh hidden. :<

(It crashed for me with these old drivers =| )

Nah, shaders work fine for me Rabid. It's a random graphics glitch apparently, and I read of a way to fix it on their forums, which I have now done. Now whats really pissing me off is the fact that the game crashes every single damn time I try and join a server. Yet they call it a 'rare' occurrence. 90% of the time isn't something I'd call rare, I'll tell you.
