Hi all, I set up my tools to include more wad files that I extracted using GCFScape, went on making map and went to compile after alterations to the map.
but when I compiled it came up with "the comand failed.windows reported the error:"the system cannot find the file specified", that is when I compile in the expert mode, when I try to compile in normal mode the "Map not found comes up and shows the half life game and not the regular counter strike game as in the past???

any help would be appreciated...LeFtY

You've probably got an error in the compile somewhere, or you've not set up Hammer correctly.

ok I wil check hammer, I lost my first map because of the sed problem, made new map and same problem exists... :

had this like error many times. Check for errors in your map. Maybe you carved too much or so.

I dont carve , found that I had to load hammer back on, unfortunately I had to start the map all over again as I did not want to screw up again, when I tryed to change settings in hammer it would not let me apply them ?

before loading hammer again, now changes can be made
