good choice...

but we should try to do it at relitavely the same time so that ppl who havent read this thread know that it's one project. Of course the map description will give mercenary kudos for the idea as well.

Yeah the idea is mercenery's so I'll give him a part of the credit!

I had an idea to keep it as one project-in the description everyone will write the URL to the other maps! :) What do you think about that?

Make sure Texture Lock is off and/or turn the stept into func_walls.
Posted 19 years ago2005-07-10 13:27:26 UTC Post #120144

Booohooo... I hate my map it's over detailed and I can't decrease the details for I already neglected alot of the details! I changed some stuff so they will only be cubes with a texture on them like my tape and it looks quite good! :)

Posted 19 years ago2005-07-14 11:04:15 UTC Post #120790

Posted 19 years ago2005-07-14 11:19:44 UTC Post #120797
The screen and the discs! I remember creating more and I don't need to create anymore for Hl1's textures are great for my perpose! I think I'll also make signs with the names of the mambers in my family!!

This project is getting bigger every moment! Anyway I'll need some plant models for Hl1 contains only one and some textures for grass I may also export some textures from opposing-force but models will be helpfull!
Posted 19 years ago2005-07-14 11:39:30 UTC Post #120803
Just chacked there are two kinds plant models but it's not enough to make a whole garden so I still need those models!
Posted 19 years ago2005-07-14 11:55:30 UTC Post #120805
You can use some small code to make resizable models. With that, you can make scientists or barneys with different sizes by just adding a new keyvalue in their entity properties.

You can also do this with plant models. Maybe it'll suit your needs.

Onlu if your house map is going to be custom mod.
Posted 19 years ago2005-07-14 12:14:22 UTC Post #120811
For the trees I'll use solids but I will still need some models for the garden for It will look stupid if I would repeate my self too many times! :|
Posted 19 years ago2005-07-14 12:19:52 UTC Post #120812

i think night because i could have lights and switches...for a challenge? what do you think?
Posted 19 years ago2005-07-14 12:24:38 UTC Post #120814
The night is scary and the loveliest time of day for mapping(dusk is also nice)
Posted 19 years ago2005-07-14 12:29:25 UTC Post #120817
