I have searched the forums for this, and found something, but I didn't really understand what it meant.

So..

I downloaded a prefab for half-life, where do I put it so I can use it?

It needs to be an .ol file to go in here, if its just an RMF prefab or the like, you have to open it and make it a prefab using the system.

most prefabs i find are actually (if they are made by average people) are stored in their own makes ready to be turned into a prefab by hammers create a prefab tool.
