When looking far away the view becomes as if you were looking outside of the map. Where the black part is in this picture: http://img393.imageshack.us/my.php?image=black2eq.jpg

Is there anyway to stop this? Is my map too big?

Set the back clipping plane as high as it will go. But even then it cuts it off to black after a certain distance. Just how Hammer is.

If you have a good computer you can do as Jeremy said, if you have a not so good computer, leave it as it is. :)

Ohhh...I thought it heppend to you in game! :tired: If it heppens go into map->map properties and in the 'max viewable distance' value write a higher number. This value ditermeneds how far the player can see.(in units) So to make sure that the level wont fade out to the void raze the grid size to the highst size(about 500 units)and check your level's lengh,width and hight. ;)

thas is because of max viewable distance.
