I've been going through the r_speeds tut, and for some reason, even in OpenGL mode, gl_wireframe 2 command does NOT make a wireframe view for the brushes as described - could it be video driver? Or something I have to activate??? What shall I do here? :cool: :o :cool:

doesn't work in multiplayer mode, have to run the map through the console

Perhaps you need to run Half-Life -dev?

gl_wireframe 2 works - guess what, in OpenGL mode...

r_drawflat - usefull for seeng all your polys,
and r_draworder 1 are SOFTWARE only

r_draworder 1 works the same way as gl_wireframe 2

and yes, -dev -console

I have been in OpenGL this whole time...

gl_wireframe 2 WILL NOT work for some reason, and it isn;t finding the command "r_drawflat"

I'm using the following command line...

c:sierrahalf-lifehl.exe -dev -console +map jail

Any time I make and compile a map, I use the "normal" compile options, and I click DO NOT RUN GAME... because then I use the START - RUN - and the commandline above, replacing the map name if necessary.

Could it be my video driver? :o :o :o

Okay wait - draworder and drawflat work in software - but I still cant get gl_wireframe operational in GL mode... this is so frustrating.

what video card are you running?
