I was working on a map for Standard Proceedures the other day i realised 'Wow. This looks like something from Black Mesa.'

Something shifted in my mind. 'Standard Proceedures' has been renamed to 'Half-Life Overload.' The mod takes place on the morning of the Anomalous materials disaster.

You play as Gus Weaving, an IT systems technician called to sector D labs after the system crash which took place minutes before the disaster. You can guess where we go from there. The same features offered by 'Standard proceedures' (new weapons and monsters) but in the facility we know and love.

This will be a short mod but the longest i have worked on, hopefully offering 2 hours of gameplay.

At least your story is good! I hear so many lame stories for mods and I always just say hey what a cool idea :)

Loks very nice.. I like the gadgets... :D
But the idea sounds alot likt ChickenFist's Anomalous materials... :)

As he said but i'm liking this because the detail is starting to show but my only concern is that it looks very bland and I think the lighting could do with redoing but the architecture for HL1 standards is very good and I did feel like I was in a Hl1 Valve map ^^
The pipes add the detail I believe and the floor also!
Add vents ^^ No mod is good without vents :badass:

Uhh just carry on with it and finish your aim eh eh :D
Which reminds me I gotta finish this DM map I like said I would finish 30 days ago :D:D :nervous:

Use a different ceilling texture. That texture is a floor texture and is usually not used for ceillings. ;)
