im havin some problems with water entities....
-waves dont seem to work
-how do you set it so that from below the surface of the water you can see the texture at the surface rather than having a clear view of the whoel room?
-at the border between two water entities, i can see the water texture and it looks really stupid, how do i get rid of that?

-waves dont seem to work = Does not work in Software

-how do you set it so that from below the surface of the water you can see the texture at the surface rather than having a clear view of the whoel room?

use a normal world brush completely covered in a water texture

Retexture the sides of those brushes using Texture Application Mode.

Select the water texture of your choice, create a solid brush where you want the water to be, select it, press the To Entity button and select func_water. Thats what I do.
m0p m0pIllogical.
