Use better graphic settings for taking screenshots. Even the game runs slow, the comic will look much better.

You really can't follow that? The dude's a normal truck driver dude, is stuck out on the highway... Sees a vehicle crash into a power line, crawls up the cliff to see, where he finds a half-Dead combine....
Is it really that bad?
The last picture is the only one that looks pixilated to me, and thats because I took it while I was in the distance... I think I cropped a little too much on that one...

Second, graphics? Looks like you're lowing on the lowest detail level possible... raise it.

It's not a jpg problem, the textures ingame are set to low quality. That's why it looks bad. Also, the screenshots appear to have been taken on 640x480 ...

What do you mean your comp can't handle the graphics? Does it actually prevent you from turning the texture quality to 'high' ?
It doesnt matter if you have horrible framerates. You only need to capture one frame after all.

Nice story, but it does look like crap. and speech bubbles suck, you may as well just use arial or times new roman, won't have a dramatic effect, but it would be tons easier to read.

Remember, this is my first time using Gary's Mod
I'm almost done with the second one...
I turned up the graphics all the way when taking the pictures, and changed the font. I also make the pictures a little larger and more interesting...

You hold down E and rotate with the physgun and make sure the weapon is No Collided with the ragdoll.

Just use JPEG. PNGs are nice, but unnecessary here, and JPEG2000 isn't supported by anything.

I used to do that sometimes, but in order to touchtype properly on essays and stuff you have to change it D: - You get used to it if you practice enough.
