Hi:
I have a couple of problems with my 1st mapping attempt.
Perhaps you guys can help me out.
The map compiles fine, but when playing it online and capturing all the flags (it's a DoD map) it doesn't restart, but instead goes to dod_anzio.
I don't know if the problem is the map or some other configuration error.

Also,
When the map is up and running in the server, nobody else other than the people present when the map loaded are allowed to join the server.
Do I need to add a spawn point for each player?
Right now I have 8 points, does this limit the map to 8 players?
Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance
Ivan

The first thing sounds like a server configuration thing. When you cap. all the flags in anzio, does it change map again? If so, it's a server thing.

I'm not a DoD mapper myself, but I'd try adding more spawns to combat the second point. What's the message given to people trying to join mid-round?

@ Seventh -
Its pretty much CTF deathmatch, d0d... only realistic, with 2 bullets to a death on a rifle... So players who join mid-round just wait for the next spawn (like BF2 you have to wait to spawn)

As for the problem, the first one is definately server based.

The second 1 is probably due to so few spawn points, but could also be due to the server not set up to allow people to download its custom content. /guess

I'm not a DoD [m]mapper[/m]
I used to play it. Great fun.

Thanks for the quick responses. I'll add a few spawns and see if that helps with that trouble.
I'm also checking into the map change thing with the server admin, and see what may be out of kilter there.
Thanks again
I'll let you know
