Never mind, That program only viewed models. I couldnt edit them. honestly. IS THERE ANY SIMPLE MODEL EDITOR THAT I CAN JUST OPEN THE MODEL WITH AND EDIT THAT! Everyting I have found is too complicated or doesnt edit half life.

That's because modelling is complicated!

I wish I knew something easier. I gave up :|

It depends on what you want to edit. Ive only recently got into modeling. I dont make models i just edit them, for example what i wanted to edit was the zombie model for my mod. I wanted it to have a human head, so i downloaded MS3D and mucked around for ages. Eventually i got the hand of it... well not really but i got what i wanted in the end.

All i can say is that if your desperate, then just muck around, keep trying things and eventually you'll get something close to what you want.

All Im trying to do is get the basic 9mm handgun from Half life, and make a double-gun version of it. I also want to edit the reloading seqeunce of the double guns but that is all. but milkshape wont open half life models!

Well Ive looked hard and tried hard. There is no way you can just open a .mdl for Half Life with Milkshape. This tells me that Milkshape is a big rip off and a peice of junk.

Worldcraft dude: You'd have to edit sequences so that both fires, edit the ammo amount, coding .
There IS NO EASY WAY of modeling.
I tried, then my Ms3d broke down.

Black Mesa: Milkshape is the only one (i know of) that can create Half-life models(or 3dmax), and 25$ is NOT expensive.
The ones who made Ms3d, what should they live off?

There's no way of copy+paste modelling

Well still, its a lot easier to mirror a model that already exists rather than make one from scratch.

I would never be able to make a model from scratch, and if i did it would look more blocky that a space invader. Ive seen some very bad models out there and ive seen some incredibly detailed models which are just soo precise that it actually looks real. Some of the CS player models are amazing, i dont think enough credit is given to the people who make those models.
