The prevailing trend seems to me regarding Zappa though, is that most people I know either really like him, or really don't :)

Hell yes, they're bloody brilliant.

Only finally got 'round to listening to them a couple of weeks ago on the recommendation of a (pretty female) friend. At first I could hardly listen to half of it, but now I'm hooked.

Amazon and friends are now telling me to try Trivium.
