Hi! I have this problem with HL since I reinstalled it and it's really freaking me out, coz I'll need to use a few tree models in my next map(well, more like movie)
So, the problem is:
I put a tree model in the map, wich has leaves on it...these leaves are made like those masked textures (render mode: solid, render amount: 255). As I know, they should work properly without any further tweaking, but they don't. The leaves' surrounding is still blue, no matter what I tell the editor to do. I had this problem with the old install of HL, but it suddenly dissapeared, but now it dosen't want to.
So, my question is: What kind of patch or thing should I apply for HL to make it work properly?? I've already installed the newest patch I could find, but it still dosen't work.

Please help me, this thing is starting to bug me out...

My guess is you're using Won-HL. I suggest updating to Steam and the newest version of half-life. There is a patch, a .dll file, that you can download that enables model transparency in Won-HL, but I don't know it's name or where to get it, it's been quite long.

It's indeed some new .dll's that come with Steam, no render settings or whatsoever that do the trick.
I believe there's still an old article about it on the VERC. Ah, here it is. Note that that article never got updated since 'new tools got available'.
