Hunter, I laughed out loud. Congrats on your effort.

The theme of pushing the gman around in a dumpster is hilarious!
Posted 18 years ago2006-04-26 16:06:21 UTC Post #176886
yay ^_^

cheers, guys!

@jobabob -
1) wtf?! no outragous sarcasm?!
2) how do you know g-man wasn't saying "colon oh!"

The posing's certainly improving. The end of this one trailed off rather, though.

no i like the smilies in the bubbles. Works as authors comment and as gman enjoying himself. Made him more funny :D

Nice job.
Posted 18 years ago2006-04-26 18:13:41 UTC Post #176912
yes, but you'd find it funny if he put a picture of a dog in one of the panels for no reason. Of course I couldnt create a comic to save my life. I do understand what makes a good comic though, for reference browse a few at http://cheston.com/pbf/archive.html , he can achieve in 3 panels what most artists can't do in 9.
Posted 18 years ago2006-04-26 22:24:57 UTC Post #176948
the few cartoon i saw on ur site jobabod r ueber corny and not funny, though there are a few good ones. g-man with :D is funny
and who cares if i like laughing alot. its healthier than being stuck up

I draw the occaisional avatar which is something completely different, I also use correct spooling and grimmer.

To each their own, PBF uses far more wit and visual comedy than any other webcomic i've read. Too many these days are as cliche as your average american sitcom.

Agreed. The PBF is a fantastic webcomic. Gotta love black humour!

Seconded. PBF is superb, best comic I have read. :)

need to work on your posing a bit, maybe you should reduce it to 6 panels so you arent so pushed with what you need to create?
Posted 18 years ago2006-04-27 17:19:06 UTC Post #177071
The posing got better after the first half, imo. It's good but there isn't anything gripping, maybe you should add something funny in? Right now it's just another wacky storyline.

o/ More comics. What on earth is going on with G-man in the last shot though? An explosion?

Notes:

I spent the longest time editing this one... Tried to make all the speech bubbles look nice, and adjusting the lighting and such...

Oh, and birds are THE MOST annoying things to pose. Ever.

G-man hiding on the Van roof was hilarious, especially considering he's normally too drunk to even walk! You can't see the bird to clearly but you get the joke there. And good Barney gag, nice work. :)

OMG I R COMMENT?!?!? Hunter happy? :sarcastic:

The posing wat amazingly well done in the 6th, 7th, and 10th frames. I especially like the view of the sun in the last frame.

Last frame made me laugh

Pretty good, not funny but I'm sure you're getting to that in the next issue or so.

Good posing but the oh my head put me off...More like ow would have suited me.

Lets see where this takes us.

yeah, the next one sees the welcome return of drunk g-man to the plot.
I'm sure that'll make most people happy..

I also made issue 16 (not yet released) at a rediculously high resolution ( I normally only run at 800 x 600 ) and took screenshots and posed at 5fps, so hopefully it'll be really high quality..

good posing, a drunk G-man flying away from the crashing car would have been cool though

and I like the way you did the sun in the last frame
