Very cool story. A hacker hacked NASA looking for UFO coverups, and technology being suppressed.

Very interesting how he actually did it.

I was quite suprised he's up for extradition though, if the US get him he'll be thrown in guantanamo most likely, what he did was wrong, but not malicious

Sad to think that such a genius hacker might be going to jail for 60 years :( Waste of talent......
Posted 17 years ago2006-05-10 11:11:01 UTC Post #179307
does the fact that he is getting so severely punished not make you think that he's not bullshitting?

yes because the US military would openly admit their computer security procedures are shite

he just did what i wanted to do, only he could do it.

He should be tried in our country and forced to develope for valve as punishment for 10 years with set salary and no promotion or probation.

turn bad to good i think. :glad:

The US are only making a big deal over it because they wish to send a message out to hackers that they will get punished. Load of bullshit tho, its not like he threatened to start nuclear war. He does look and sound like a bit of a shifty bloke though dosnt he! Aliens! pah! Oh and Armstrong didnt land on the moon. :

"Free" energy? Sounds like someone is a few french fries (chips for you Brits  ) short of a happy meal.

If he gets tried in the US for a crime commited on britain democracy has gone fuck all. Y'can't just ship off criminals to countries who feel they've been wronged when no crime has been comitted there.

Democracy doesnt excist. Only the ones with money decides what happends. And if a majority of people encounters them then there able to bend it in the way they like.

We call it politics.

And a nice movie quote to end it with

You know whats crazyness? majority rules!

60 years? :o What the hell did he do? He only hacked into many govorment computers searching for information about UFOs. This is just madness. He didn't sell some secret information, they just want to punish him to show others that they shouldn't do such things.

Well, USA will always stay like it always was.

I posted this a few days ago on IRC, i'm not sure how many people saw it. I love how he did it all on a 56k modem.

I doubt he actually found stuff on UFOs. Im betting the government is just pissed that someone actually managed to hack through their "impenetratable" Windows XP Firewall.
Posted 17 years ago2006-05-10 18:46:24 UTC Post #179371
he probably just found buried patents and some experimental craft.

maybe not free energy per se... just some effeciency stuff that would piss off the oil companies

Vaccume energy, or Zero point energy, is free energy that has been proven, we just don't know how to tap it in amounts.

why is it so hard to make something 100% efficient, I blame God for making physics so complicated
