HI, this is my first post and im sorry if this is in the wrong place, but ive just done the "Importing Models and Textures from other mods" tutorial with no problems, i imported the OP4 Grunts and the OP4 Vortigore, is there any way to get them to exibit their AI or atleast any other monsters AI, because they just sit there.
Thanks :)

Well you'll to code... change stuff in the Dlls.

You can also use a mode thats called: "spirit of Half-life"
You can give monsters an AI like a grunts AI/alien grunts/barney...

Is there any way to get the imported monsters to attack/move using scripted sequences?
Thanks

No, not with scripted_sequences, but you could make them do their animations. :)
I think that if you use spirit, you can use other monsters scripts with, for example, the op4 grunt.
So you could place out an op4 grunt, and then make it act like a normal grunt from half-life

Well, umm...
Long time ago since I used spirit, but I've read older posts in the forum, and what I thing you do, is that you add a "monster_generic" to your map.
Choose your OP4 grunt model.
And then there will be a label in properties saying "Act like.."
Choose grunt.
And that's it I think.
I can't tell how good it works.
