Can't find anything on textures..

But could someone tell me about or send me the default Half-Life 1 textures.
I'm using steam and when I looked in my HL folder there are none.
I really don't want to make my own just yet.

One app: GCF scape, or download the HL tools from the internet, or use the dedicated server ones.

i dont know about other people but personaly i prefer not using steam to make maps. its easier for me, and saves memory cuz steam doesnt have to run.

Steam only uses like 40 megs to run, its not that much.....

well i only have 512 mb of ram, and when i have aim running, internet explorer open,and downloading things, my computer tends to run slower so i try to shut off everything i dont need.

I bought half-life online

My steam is taking 7 MB.

Jason: When having GCFScape opened, go file -> Open.
Then, browse your way to Steam/steamapps/half-life.gcf and open it.
Select halflife.wad and right-click -> Extract.
Extract it in steam/steamapps/[your name]half-life/valve.
Add halflife.wad to your textures in hammer.

I don't know how much clear I can be.

Didn't notice time difference, oh well..
