Hi im trying to make a reskin of the human grunt model, but whenever i try to import my custom texture into the model viewer it comes up with any error saying it cant load the .BMP or something. Could anyone give me a hand atall.

Let me think... did you use 8bits bitmaps?

Er, i think its either 8, 16 or 24 bit, sorry i know its not much help, i think its most likely 16.

It must be 8bits as far as I remember. Try converting it (Wally is much better than MSPaint for this btw) and see how that goes.
