You know I went through all the tutorials and could not fine how to make a round corner. I am bulding a map that needs rounded corners for the edges of the walls. I tried using the vortx tool but I always end up crashing the map.

Help please.

Humm, make a block where the corner is, and clip away the edges using a cylinder as a template.
Or, use the arch tool.

Use an arch and play wit it a bit. Easy. Or, make a cylinder and build walls on 2 sides and group em.
m0p m0pIllogical.

That is the worst piece of advice I've heard since Gibran advised me to commit suicide on some wild rant.

As Andy himself hath writ:
If you have read the hints and tips at various other sites you will know that carving is a mortal sin. The idea is that you should construct each brush individually. This makes sense, especially when you are dealing with more intricate work. But today we are going to carve... just remember to carve sparingly later on, and only when you are making holes in solid blocks. Carving cylinders can lead to all sorts of problems.

hey, you make a piece of raod wiht the oad aligned perfectly. then you move it to a other brush and let it over lap, then you clip the sides right so you got a good corner for a road

I read that 'carving should only be used for rectangular or square brushes. Otherwise don't do!'

I did use carving and it worked. You have to be careful on where you carve the cylinder. Some time you might get error when you compile.

Only got one and all I had to do was resize the corner.
