Messy yes, but who cares - i can't see it clearly enough 90% of the time. Same VS as ZL with some background i took from is database.

2 - Your running Linux. As a standard, they allow you to have multiple desktops simply by clicking a button on the taskbar.

<snip>

At this time, I can't of any other possibilities or know of any proggies that let Windows have the multi desktop capacity that Linux has.
There are several. I used to use, what was it... nah, can't remember. Anyway, I'm using Virtual Dimension now, which is an improvement.

I just can't understand how some people use the same wallpaper that comes with Windows XP and never change it.

My wife is like that, but she doesn't see any point of changing the wallpaper from the original default, EVER.

I don't know why the FEAR into song is still on my desktop. I haven't listened to it in ages and it's been sitting there for at least 4 or 5 months now.

If the stuff is useless, why is it on your desktop (looking at the useless stuff folder.)

I've been led to believe that it comes with the installation of the program itself, but It's possible I don't know what I'm doing.

Nooo, LimeWire is completly safe :)
Posted 17 years ago2006-10-20 04:05:25 UTC Post #200207
That's what you think. I hear it'll pretty much make your computer explode with all the adware that comes with it, so I use FrostWire. :)

You only get viruses if you are stupid. Anyway, SoulSeek > Limewire.

Limewire is crap. Hell, the whole Gnutella network sucks. Soulseek might be a VERY little bit better. If you know what to do.

Direct Connect is the best p2p platform ever, fin. BitTorrent is pretty pwning too.

SoulSeek is crapload better than Limewire, safety wise anyway. Can't say SoulSeek has let me down yet though.

Limewire has NEVER given me any virus what so ever, DC on the other hand is a big load of crap...

Nice lightbulb robot.
Posted 17 years ago2006-10-20 10:15:30 UTC Post #200227
DC is really the best tool ever if you've got a reasonably fast connection and live in a good area (read: sweden). I can get 1000+ KB/s from lots of people on pretty much anything I want. If you're an idiot, it'll suck.
