I am trying to make a realistic mine cart that goes down the track. when it goes over a desent or a assent, I want the train to turn so it realy looks like it is going upor down. How do I do this?

try path_tracks...
It turns the train the direction of the path_track

If u use a lot of path_tracks then u can make the action a lot smoother

NOBODY has yet said "Func_tracktrain" :o -so I just did.
Actually, I've built afew mine carts myself... You want to use func_tracktrains. The ONLY problem with them I've had is that if you want them to start all by themselves, you must have them start at the time the map starts. -ie, if you want to have to "activate" a func_train after the game has started, you will have to changelevel to a new map. -See the mesa transit trains in at the start of OpFor.

-But other than that, you can build quite a fun coaster-style mine cart ride... with about a hundred path_tracks, that is.

Welcome to the club! :D Stick with it though, you'll get it. The func_tracktrain not appearing just means you are missing something. Does it have an origin brush? Are you using path_tracks? The func_tracktrains use those instead of path_corners. If mapping was easy, TWHL wouldn't be necessary. ;)

if TWHL wasn't here, mapping would be ten time harder. I'm going to fool around with it a little and see if it works, and great job on Minimicus, one of the only full MODs in the map vault, lol.

Did u use an origin brush?

U gotta use a funv_tracktrain, following path_tracks and the train must have an origin brush

I got it now! THnks to Gopher mealies. They help lower my colestral and only have 2 grams of fat! and they taste so good! I will recamend Gopher mealies to anyone at anytime! I don't know what I would do without them at my side! Made from real gopher!

(I got it because of Zombies example map.)
