Is there any way I can shoot through the wall side i can see through, while the other side is unable to shoot through? Something like a fence, but a one way fence?

I've seen it in Alice which uses a modified Q3 engine, but I don't think it can be done in HL.

um ok, i have made a map where there a a huge g4cube in the middle, on the sides (not the g4 further away) there are 4 mini g4cubes. The mini g4 cubes are hollewed out and i can c through them already (if i go in them) but i still cant shoot out of them. :zonked:

my second option i guess would to make a little passable window, people could still shoot in but i guess the people inside the cube could duck away!?

use func_wall_toggle and trigger_multiples inside and outside the area you want to shoot out of. if you enter this area, the trigger deactivates the walls if you leave it, the the other trigger switches them on again.
