Now that the NDA has been lifted I can host screenshots of Lord of the Ring online (beta).

I've dreamt of making a map of this place called Fornost but I've never been that good with texturing, so I need a partner for this project(for the texturing part). Its a old ruined fort with indoors and outdoors (in lotro its way too big so I have to scale it down).

Heres some screenshots of Fornost in Lotro :P

PS: Troll bodies are not to be included into the final map...

First off, you need to mention as to whether this will be for HL1 or HL2 because texturing for one is extremely different to the other.

Secondly there aren't many texture artists here who don't already have a massive workload (myself included) as far as I know.

Theres thant thingy called teamwork. But I guess its not a commong thingy in mapping communities.

No, thats why mapping teams are so rare

Anyway back on topic.

It's like I said. Most of the guys here already have their plates full. I would love to help, really. However I am a very busy man also on the search for texture artists and so far I haven't found any that aren't already working on something.

Hell, thats the reason I learned how to do it myself in the first place.
