Anyone know what the measurement (in U.S.) is per unit?

Specifically, how many units are in a yard?

1 hammer unit = 1 real-world, U.S inch.

A yard = 3 feet = 36 inches/units.

dont associate with units, it stuffs everything up. i read an article on it once, they clearly explains it, but i dunno where i saw it.
