Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, specificly Gmod RP Maps

First, the active entities and their properties.

Now, in hammer and gmod/hl2dm the func_monitor is black.

My knowledge of camera's is bare so I'm just going to say what I believe and others can correct me.

As far as I recall you need the Point_camera which seems fine in your above settings. The next thing is you make a brush and apply a monitor texture to it. If I recall you can only use certain ones and you have to fit it to the brush so you don't end up with 4 squares of the same thing.

I may be wrong but I don't recall you needing those other entities...Mind you I need to refresh my library of Hammer entities.

Feel free to host the map in the problem vault and I should be able to give it a look unless someone can give you a quick fix.

Yes, fitting the texture to the brush should be done. The settings seem fine: keep in mind, in Hammer, you won't see a render of the camera. You'll only see it in-game.

Fitting the texture to the brush is probably the only solution I can think of at the moment.

Yeah, the func_monitor has the monitor texture on it.

here, have 2 example maps.

The C4 map is really to show how to make a door blast open, but there is a very simple monitor in the map, but I am not sure if I included it into the zip.

The TV one has a more complicated monitor, but you should be able to understand it.
