Hi, I've been off for a long while cos my Hammer isn't working :
and now Im pissed as hell with it so plz help me out!

OK, when I open SDK from Steam, it crashes before it opens, but that can't be fixed, so here's what I'm asking:
Is there a command to open Hammer specificly, with opening the SDK menu? For example "SDK -game hammer"

You could do this with HL1>>
Create a shortcut to hl.exe and in the properties, add "-game cstrike" to the command line and it would open straight on Counter-Strike.

So is it possible to create a shortcut to SDK and add something like "-tool hammer" to take me straight to Hammer without having to open the SDK menu?

thanks for any help guys ^_^

Just look for Hammer.exe in your Steam folder and run that. That's what I do anyway, since on my shitty PC I can't run Hammer and Steam all at once.

I think you just have to have Steam open to launch it from the actual .exe file.

Yeah, the same is required with all the other tools/utils.
Pretty shitty, if you're on an older PC. :(

ok, now I can launch Hammer.exe, but it doesn't appear, the process just sits there in the list. [52,368 K]
