Alrighty...I'll post some when that guy gets in a map.

Hello folks btw. I been working my ass off in the past week. The maps got done in a hurry but with great detail and textures. (I dont know how did I manage to that but I'm not gonna complain about it :lol:)

Also I was working on an small official poster to inspire myself and the others who like to play the mod. And also to show most of the re-skins in one pic instead of uploading-posting them 1 by 1.

(I'm not the best at photo editing and stuff but I gave it a try anyway)

Tell me what you guys think about it plz,

I know he looks weird with the sun-glasses but its because you never seen him like that before. lol :cyclops:

Or I might fix that and give him back his geeky glasses. :P

The skinning isn't bad after a second look. Just the skin on einsteins head is a bit meh.

What are the black things either side of Gordon. I can't see 'em but they look very low-res.

Yeah I see it now. Somehow i completely missed page 4 of this thread. Skins look better there. Waiting for this to be released so I can give it a full review.

When I said posable, what I mean was that he looked kinda like a poorly positioned action figure.

Nice! Can't see anything wrong with those, except maybe for the wall texture in the second screenshot.

The first one looks great. For the second screenshot, I'd say you should make your own glass texture. I doesn't take long and it will probably look better than the HL glass we've been seeing for years. At least in surfaces as big as those.

Maybe just use a different glass texture. There's quite a few in halflife.wad that aren't used often.

Lookin' pretty good there. I liked the overall detail in the 1st screenie, although the lighting could be improved there.

And yeah, the 2nd area could use a different glass texture, perhaps some vertical window frame parts.

About the glass texture, I've got the poke646 texture maybe I can find a glass texture to replace it but they all almost look the same.

Thx, I'll see what I can do. Don't have much good metal textures. And my photoshop skills are limited. So I don't have much of a choice :)

A little media update and as always, comments would be appreciated. I actually finished 5 more maps this month. (Got a speed boost :P)
But unfortunately I can't continue from now on untill I get a new voice actor. (The old one seems to be not responding for sometime.) The weapon modeller Rimrook seems to be busy more than ever...again. So I can't go any further than posting grunts, zombies, vortigaunts and race-x :)

Your screenshots are a little low-res making fine details slightly more difficult to notice, but that's just me nit-picking.

The content itself is looking superb.
This mod really has gone from looking crap to looking awesome. nice work.

I see dark rooms with bright lights... couldn't you use some spotlights to control the light and create some better contrast maybe? just a thought...

Other than that, i love it! The bottom one, however, I can't tell what I'm looking at, but it still looks really cool with the cave... i think...

There is actually a light above the fire which lits the whole place every second. (candle B, i think) But I'll see what I can do. It's not finished yet anyway.

Completion percentage? Uhm...I think it's at %78 . I didnt get started at the last chapter yet. But I'm close :)
