Hello there!

I'm an avid Visual Basic 6.0 Enterprise Editon SP4 programmer and I am going to organize a tournament of CS 1.5 or 1.6...

In VB I made a program that show the current playoffs... Who is playing, who will play, who was knocked out etc... Like a tree...

What I want to know is how can I get the scores and the current playing team names in server (via API or something else)... The VB program runs in the same machine that will be running the CS server...

Nobody uses VB6. Most people use VB.NET or C++. VB6 is so 1990.

Why are you asking here and not on a VB forum...?

I tryied in a VB forum, but nobody in the forum that I attend to uses VB to interact with CS and/or HL...

C++ is an hard laguage to me... Is so low level...
I'm trying to learn VB.NET , but there are new conventions and functions and etc...

But don't you know how to do it, even in C++ or Pascal?
