I've extracted some models from the pak0 file. But where should I place them so I can use them in Hammer?

What do you mean---If you made new models-(skins colour???)then place them in..

C:/SEIRRA/Half-Life/valve/models/

And name them the same as the model you are replacing --

example:

If you recreated barney.mdl
and called it mybarney.mdl
then place it in the models folder
and rename it to barney.mdl

mybarney.mdl ~to~ barney.mdl

ok.

If you're extracting them in order to utilise the model viewing of Hammer 3.5b, put them in Half-Lifevalvemodels, as Unbreakable said. If they still don't show up, get the model-supporting FGD.

The problem is that I can't find the models in Hammer. It should appear as "monster_chumtoad" or something.

Not all the monsters are coded, and these uncoded ones aren't in the FGD. You may have to use a monster_generic, _furniture or a cycler to display them as static models.

Hammer 3.5b, put them in Half-Lifevalvemodels
I thought it was "valve hammer editor/models"? And I didnt get no fancy new FGD, I had to make one myself! Where do I get this model-fgd thingy?
