There used to be a table where my desk is now, and that's where the clock used to sit. Me and my brother use it to get up for school and to see the time when we wake up at night, so I tried to leave it roughly where it used to be.
I only need 2 inches on either side of my mouse, so it's fine.

It's not THAT massive (ever seen one of those monstrosities Chenming makes?), but it is a full tower case. Sits 21 inches tall.

I have a microATX HP computer and I got a laptop purely for the miniaturization. A full tower is just huge, sure you can fit a 8800GTX inside, but can you fit the computer under your desk?

I could put it under my desk if I wanted to, but I'd rather have it sit in an easily accessible place, because I clean and upgrade it quite frequently. The reason I got a full tower was because they're really nice and easy to work in. Lots of space for cables and drives, plus great air flow. You don't need a ten inch long video card to appreciate it.

I've got a rather large Antec P180 that I keep on top of my desk because it's easier to get to... and it doesn't fit in my desks tower area.
But yes, srry is right, the space in larger towers is great to work with and the airflow in this thing is brilliant.
