Hi everyone this is my first thread and I'm afraid to say its a cry for help. I make cs 1.6 maps with a friend of mine, and we have started a new project that were happy with. Our only problem is we dont know how to make it so the Terrorists start with locks and the Counter-Terrorists start with usps. I can make the Cts and Ts start with a glock and usp but i dont know how to make 1 team start with 1 and the other team start with the other. If you could help us that would be great because its one of the last things we need done untill our version of cs_assault is done.

Usually the teams start with their own team-specific weapon regardless.
Terrorists will have a glock by default, and Counter-Terrorists will have a USP by default. (both will have knives as well)

Just make sure that you have the info_player_starts and info_player_deathmatch entities in the correct location.

I believe player starts are CTs and player deathmatches are T's but i could be wrong.

ur right but ive made a map and the ts and cts didnt start with anything now pistol no knife :aghast:

Hmm. That's not possible without any extra setting up. Have you launched your map via Create Server, or the console?

i own my own server so i copied the file into my maps folder of the server and ran it and u didnt start with anything

very weird

also do u guys know how to make the lighting for a map look like its dayt ime without haveing dark patches or it being to bright

have u ever tried to type on a french keyboard? its not normal key placement so its harder
