Ok all i did was replace the weapons .mdls but when they load they still have the same attributes

(example)

I got a sniper rifle in with I renamed--

sniper.mdl
to
crossbow.mdl

But It Stll shoots the crossbows-

Do I need to edit the fgd file??

You can't change the weapon attributes without editing the dlls with C++. :|

Well I can't find any bullet.mdl well i can--but still there will be the 1sec delay before the bow hits its destination---What do you mean Jaadsi?

Replacing models with models that arent meant to be that model doesnt work. In case you didnt notice all the animations turned to the shooting anuimation. the idle, shotting, reloading and draw. Its just stupid.

yeah, you have to do some really long programming (or just a little tweak?) for you to have your inermost desires... or just screw everything up :

i've tried changing the rpg rocket itself into a gargantuan model :D ...you'll see him charging to the unfortunate player, then exploding(vanishing actually :P)....Or, try it with the mp5grenade so you will see the garg doing some sort of forward flips (just like what the grenade itself does) :D ........havent tried using nihilanth though :nuts:
