My map wont compile all the way. It freezes about half way. I don't know how to fix it. I don't know if my map is too big? or it is somthing else?! AH!!! So I really need some help. If you could also tell me how to put the file up for DL then that would be wonderful, so you guys can DL it.

Despite what task manager might say, compiles pretty much never freeze. Have patience, it's probably just taking a long time.

And to upload files, you just go to the Map Vault, click the "Submit a Map" button, and you can select the file to upload the zipped map, along with the screenshot and a description. If the map is bigger than 2MB though, you'll have to host it externally.

What version of the tools do you have, and yes, it rarely does freeze, I have only had one issue with freezing.

alright u were right u guys but... now when i try to play my map it shutsdown n says couldn't open half-life.wad. I don't know what that means because I am not using the half-life.wad. Does it mean that I need it? If you can help me on that one that would be awesome.
