Hello, I want to play hl1. I've my steam pack of cs + cz but inside the Valve folder, I have a GCF of half life game, and half life engine. How can I play HL1? Do I have to download it apart?

anyway, you need to purchase the game from steam. obviously if you don't have the game you can't play it. you have the half-life GCF because CS (and possibly CZ) needs files from it to run.

... do not make fun of me cause I don't know how to speak like an english. I'm sure u only know 1 or max 2 languages. I'm bilingual and I know english apart of my original languages so u are not in good position to make fun of non american/english people.

As PB said, you have the GCF because in has some of the original HL textures and sounds, etc in it - saves having two copies when both HL and CS installed. I think its only about ?5, and a 1/2 hour download.
