After that HL2 SDK update, or whatever it was, i encountered a problem...
cant load filesystemOpenDialog.dll
Whats with this? Its preventing me from making any source maps, as hammer crashes terribly after a few seconds after getting this error

The same thing happens to me if i try to use hammer for cs:s, but tf2 maping works just fine.

Not spam, you can't even spell the most common and most used word on this site correctly, which is mapping.

Anyway, CSS mapping still required the old version of the SDK, i believe you have to use the -engine ep1 parameter to force the SDK to load the old previous version of Hammer.

Ok, Ant's post helped me get the SDK running, but i get a fatal error when i bring up the model browser, for props and such.

Model viewer is currently borked under the old SDK. If you go into the options for Hammer and turn off VGUI Model Browser, you'll get the old model browser which works fine.
