Im doing a level change going from one room into another through a door, when u open the door and touch the level change trigger u get sent to another ma.

i have my landmarks in there and level change trigger, but when ever i change level im ending up in the floor. There are no objects near me, landmark isnt in the floor etc, i really dont know what it could be, please help if you can

Read the tutorial. The landmark gotta be roughly the same place in each map!
m0p m0pIllogical.

Move the landmark up until your not stuck in the floor.
Try 50 units from the floor to start with, this will probably have you with your head stuck in the roof, but it gives you something to work with.

You might want to note here that all Valve Half-Life changes were done in Big Spaces !! not vents or small corridors.

I find it helpful to put all the level changes and landmarks in the same map, completing parts of the next map at the same time. This way you can safely compare and check that everything is level.
You then copy the room to the next map, seal it, and remove the extra changelevels.

Yep. JB's method is good. It assures that the info_landmarks are at the exact same place.

Don't put it 'roughly' the same place. It may end the player up somewhat above the floor or somewhat in the floor.

Oh, and Andy... you said:

"You might want to note here that all Valve Half-Life changes were done in Big Spaces !! not vents or small corridors."

Wich isn't completely right. It has been done in somewhat narrow corridors. But because the info_targets were at the exact same position, the player didn't see walls shifting and didn't shift position himself.

Um, when you say landmarks have to be in the same place, do you mean xyz coordinates? Cause my level change won't work and you are supposed to be teleporting to the next level.

i sorted it now, had to have the landmarks in exact position. eg if landmark on map 1 was at coordiantes 100,100, then then landmark on map2 would have to be at coordianates 100,100

omg, I never realized the coordinates, I totally forgot, I use to have the hardest time getting the landmarks in there exact positions, never even thought of looking at the coordinates.. Thanks guys for helping me with an unknown problem.

Point taken Captain P...
Your right,
I should have said some/most... not all.

The point I was trying to get across was that I can't remember any lchanges in Duct's for instance...
Am I wrong again?
