Hey guys.

I've had no luck with getting episode 2 models working in just normal half-life 2 (death match), does anybody know how to do it?

might be some engine related problems i thing DM runs on the old hl2 engine

What exactly goes wrong for you? Do they simply not appear? Do you get the big obnoxious ERROR model? Pink and black checkered textures? More info, please.

The only problem I can think about while doing this is some of the Episode Two model textures using the latest texture version, in which case you'll have to convert 'em.

HLDM is used under the Episode 1 engine. When the Orange Box was released, they rebuilt the engine so models included new shaders and rendering abilities which are not supported by the EP1 engine. You will not be able to use these models unless you decompile and recompile them but even then, I don't reckon they would work.
