I'm using 3.4 hammer editor, and I can't select things from the camera view.
I've tried reinstalling, deleting the config, readjusting it, looking through all the options.
Everything.
I can't possibly think of what else.
I know I had 3.4 before and could select from camera view. My friend can also do the same.
Do I need to upgrade to 3.5, if so, how do I do that?
3.5 isn't an installer, it just runs.

You don't need catalyst for it.

There's an issue with the Catalyst driver 7.12 and possibly newer version as well, that's causing the problem you're having.

All you can do is:

• Stop with GoldSource mapping and switch to Source mapping.
• Install an NVidia card.
• Rollback to an older Catalyst driver (see the thread to find out which one).

I know how annoyin this is cuz i got same problem. I did a rollback to an older driver though.

Rolling back sounds easiest.
I mapped before with ease, being able to select from camera.
It sucks without that feature. Heh.
