Uh dude I have Vista, Quad Core at 2.66 GHz, Nvidia 8800 GTX and 3 GB ram...It runs fine. Just don't put so much gay pr0n on your HDD.

LOL we are not talking about my monster machine wich gets 180 average FPS on max settings + max filters (AA and all the stuff) at 1650 x 1050!
I'm not talking about the FPS, omg people doesn't know lag does not equal FPS?
I'm talking about Vista known "bug" which tries to connect to a better network each 60 seconds or less, which gives you 3-4 seconds of +1500 ping (tested that on widnows console). ONLY FOR WIRELESS(WIFI) USERS.
PS: oh yeah unbreakable, I though of doing that but I have 32 bits Vista wich only takes 3,2 GB, so I'm fine with 2 atm

I had a CSS server at one point, but I gave it up because no one was playing it.
TF2 would attract more players now.

well, hell, I learned somethin' new! Well I'll be!...You didn't know that? lag has nothing to do with FPS, lag is caused by packets lost or "arriving late" (ping) from the server, and makes the game look as if it was moving slow. So it's internet connection problem.

I have a rig, which has like a quarter of that performance, and I still don't overclock it.Overclocking the quad core because compile times are much faster, and the temperature of my processor is very good (below 65 ?C always), so i don't have to worry about it. And overclocked 4870 because ASUS Smart Doctor (program) lets you do it to a secure limit (and in real time!), so why not? I just overclock it when I play Crysis, when I play other games I have it on default speeds.

yeah but it's not a wireless problem, I have 70% signal. It's windows vista network that does it, there's lot of people that have fixed it by installing XP drivers, but I can't get them working.
