Hi all . I have a relatively nooby problem ...
I searched for a tutorial I was sure I saw about 6 months ago on some site , but I didn't find the damn tutorial .
So I'm reqesting your help .
Here's the result I want to have without having to rotate the texture manually . I know there's a method on aligning the texture by using some technique ...

All that I remember is that you have to select the top texture :

And then the interior texture :

And there was a technique on how to align the top texture after the interior texture .
Thanks in advance . Hope somebody knows :D

I don't know if it will work for HL1, but try selecting the interior face, then Alt + left mouse on the face to align.

Hah, thats my mapping tip. :D

And Spike is right, thats the way its done, you're just doing something wrong, i guess. Read that mini tutorial carefully and it'll work.

Oh I wouldn't thought it was there the tip :aggrieved:

Thank you very much .

then Alt + left
while in your mini-tutorial says
Alt + right click.

Umm, because the tutorial is pretty useful , I took a little from my time and compile the tutorial intro on big image :crowbar: :

It is? I see them all the time in the real world. :\

But yeah, I saw that guide a while back and I've used it ever since. Very useful.
